Meet members of the Friends of Wilderness, take part in some craft activities and explore the Wilderness.
The Friends of the Wilderness will be holding an open morning from 10am - 12pm, giving you the opportunity to come and chat to us to learn more about what we do and the children can enjoy some topical activities.
Recent upgrade work in the Wilderness
The Wilderness is constantly evolving, and these photos capture some of our recent improvements and woodland care.
Thanks to generous funding from the Skipton Craven Rotary, we have installed a smart new gate in the north-west corner, alongside a new table top in the seating area for visitors to enjoy.
You may also notice the results of the careful removal of a mature beech tree—a necessary step identified following a council tree survey to ensure the site remains safe, healthy, and open for both wildlife and the community.
